History
of door hardware is not written anywhere. But we can say that door increased
the need of its hardware. Earlier, when people moved from caves to quarters they
understand to care for their homes from unwanted impostors and the perils of
the weather. This need directed the invention of the door. Then various kinds
of doors and door hardware came into existence. Researchers said, hinges was
the first hardware which was used by various people in all over the world.
