Door and Window Hardware - Perception Difference

Today I got to know that most of the countries are not willing to buy door window hardware made by China because it is not reliable, low quality and less durable. That’s why people of different countries consider products from Turkey, India, UK and US. And some countries need the customized products; they give the art design to the manufacturer and ask them the price per unit, if it looks profitable then give them an order.

I am working as a Marketing Consultant for one of the leading Chinese door hardware manufacturer and I used to find out buyers from different countries to give the return on their investment. After a long discussion of one buyer who is from Egypt, he said “majority of our people does not consider Chinese products because of low quality and reliability. Our practice is to get the customized products where we give the sample model to the manufacturer and ask for the prototypes”. Then I realized that there is a perception difference in specific countries. In my opinion, there are numerous manufacturers who provide low quality product with low price but some well known companies does not compromise on quality. They provide superior quality product that’s why the price is little bit high as compared to other competitors. These exterior door hardware manufacturers provide a free sample for customer satisfaction. 

Through above discussion I can conclude that, the negative image of manufacturers who are providing low quality product creates a bad impact on other companies too.
