Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is a very important festival for Chinese citizens. It starts from 4^th or 5^th February and end it on 15^th of the same month. Office use to open after 15th and factories comes into operation on 1^st of March. 

All families organize one annual dinner where people join and celebrate the night and end it up with firecrackers. On next morning, children greet their parents and get money in red envelop. I know one exterior door hardware manufacturer or commercial door locks manufacturer who is located in China. They are going for the vacation from 1^st February till 17^th February but as we all know that factories start their work from 1^st march so they cannot proceed for the production. I got an order for them from Vietnam and they need 1500 pieces on 25^th February which we cannot deliver because of vacation. This thing matters a lot because of the long holiday and some customer move to their local purchase or manufacturers from other country. 

Chinese holiday is good for their citizens because they get good time for enjoy but if we see on the production point of view it harm some of the business.
