If you know the process of business to business portals then you have an
idea that they sell their membership in terms of consultancy service. In this
service the customer who pays for the membership get buyer consultancy service
and lot of other things in return which is beneficial for their business.
When the membership is expire of a particular customer then order helps a
lot for the retention of membership. I am working for exterior door hardware manufacturer or commercial door locks manufacturer who is located in China. They deal in door
and window hardware and bought a membership of Tradekey which is one of the popular
Business to Business portals. My work is to generate inquiries, promote their
company’s profile and products, target market and customers, promote through
social media networks and make some deals. On 24th January, the
membership has been expired and they were ready for the retention because of an
order which I have made with Vietnam’s buyer. Now I have no idea how much
period they are interested for the retention but they are ready to work with
us.
As I said,
